I felt Cedar Lakes deserves a 4 1/2 Stars. It was a fantastic resort for children. The kids could ride their bike around seeing all different types of wildlife, paddling on the kayaks and little boats. The only downfall was we had previously stayed here, and the pool was heated. This is the main reason we choose to come back here as last time we spent hours upon hours with our kids in the pool. The pool was absolutely freezing this time as they turned off the heat in the warmer months. But it was still cold at the end of November. Hardly anyone used the pool other than a few kids. They do have two spas. They have putt putt golf, which was good. An arcade room which the kids used. Over all its is a great country escape.
What a beautiful spot!! To wake up looking out over the lake was so relaxing. No traffic noise was an extra bonus!
The pool is refreshing, the spas, yes there's 2, are relaxing, the games room is lots of fun, the mini golf is challenging and the peddle boats and kayaks are a great way to exercise.
Then there's the animals... wallabies, kangaroos, ducks, swans, parrots, and even turtles that swim to you for a feed!!!
The apartments are soundproof and a great size, very clean and well-appointed. I love that you get your own private balcony with an outdoor setting to relax on.
If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers, yet, close enough for day trips. This is the place to stay.
A nice quiet resort in the Hinterland region. Friendly staff, guests. Nice big pool. Golf as well. Large spacious suites. Plenty to do in the area but YOU MUST HAVE A CAR. Loads of kangaroos, wallabies and birds on the property. Sadly, ny cafe or restaurant on property.

My family of 5 have stayed for the past week on holidays from Sydney. Excellent facilities, pool, sauna and spa accesible till 10 pm. Peaceful surroundings and wildlife to explore. Location is wonderful, all main beaches, airport and attractions are 30 minutes away. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. A complete home away from home. Would highly recommend for any family holiday. We will definitely be back
It is an amazing place to take the family, young and old kids. They have plenty of activities you can do , golf, paddle boats, canoes, mini golf and tennis, and a 1/2 basketball court. They have a lovely pool and spa. It was a very relaxing holiday.
This was my second stay at this stunning resort, and I must say that we've definitely enjoyed our 2 week's stay here. It has the most gorgeous views and wildlife galore! It was also the most perfect opportunity/location to pop the question to my now fiance! The reception was very accommodating and friendly and couldn't have picked a better place to spend our family holiday. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
Loved our unit 1019 close to carpark and easy walk to the club house. Four great pools and shade. The Wednesday dinner was very enjoyable keep up that feature. We will return next time as we live in Northeastern Victoria.
